Thai Font Categories

Thai fonts sort along two axes: how the letterforms look, and where the font came from. Letterform tells you whether a face reads as traditional or contemporary — the looped versus loopless split is the most consequential decision in Thai typography. Source tells you what you are allowed to do with it, and whether the reader's machine already has it. Every category below lists its fonts with previews, verified licence information, and designer credits.

By letterform

How the typeface is drawn — the visual classification a designer picks from.

By source and licence

Who made the font, whether it ships with your operating system, and what you may legally do with it.
