The designer places it in a lineage rather than in isolation: MONKEY is described as related to his earlier iannnnnBKK (2006) and DUCK fonts, but with distinct brush-pen characteristics. That is a twenty-year arc of the same casual register, redrawn.

Character design and tone
iannnnn-MONKEY is drawn with quick, slightly hurried strokes carrying a subtle italic lean and brush-pen weight variation without strong contrast. The lean is the defining feature. A rightward slant in Thai handwriting reads as speed, the way ลายมือหวัด — fast cursive — does on paper, and it is what gives the face its energy.
The brush-pen modulation is present but restrained: enough to suggest a marker or a felt tip, not enough to create the thick-thin drama of a calligraphic face like Plaimanas07. That keeps colour reasonably even despite the speed.
